Butterflies and lizards in the Butterfly House, Sayn Castle

Country

In the butterfly house of Sayn Castle near Bendorf in Rhineland-Palatinate, you can experience butterflies up close. They buzz around you, flutter around and drive even the autofocus of a professional camera like Nikon Z9 to despair - that's how unpredictable their flight acrobatics are. But even as blue schemes in the photo, they give an idea of their exuberant joie de vivre, which due to their short life expectancy seems to be of short and therefore all the more exuberant duration.

If they sit on objects, they offer motifs that are just as easy to photograph as the almost immobile lizards in the small tropical house.
